I called my sister this morning and we both celebrated Obama's win. But I'm a person who likes to anticipate things, so I quickly began thinking about January 20th. We started talking about how big the crowd would be and that it would be a record. I realized I want to go, but right now money is a little scarce because I'm laid off. It didn't matter if I went to an Inaugural Ball, although if someone wanted an escort....not even hotel rooms...although I may rethink things if mid-January turns out to be as cold as January 2000. I just wanna be there, just to be in the crowd with a cup of hot cocoa. Will I get a way there-not sure if I can-but I have a diary anyway.
